<p>In May 2005, the first modern hospital in Korea, Kwanghyeowon, was built 120 years after Severance Hospital was built and 100 years after Severance Hospital was built.</p><p>The New Severance Hospital consists of four parts including an outpatient clinic, ward for hospitalization, central treatment facility, convenience and education facilities. The outpatient clinic consists of 118 clinic rooms in total, and consists of 5 specialized centers(gastroenterology center, cranial nerve center, emergency center, diabetes center, organ transplant center) and 2 specialized clinics(cancer clinic, allergies and asthma clinic), and 17 clinical practice departments, and is located between the third and sixth floor of the New Severance Hospital. The Ward for hospitalization is located on the 5th floor and also from 8th to 20th floor, and has 1004 hospital beds in total including 897 beds in general ward, which is the largest scale in the nation.<br></p>
