The Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO) is an international cooperation organization 10 countries have been participating with Korea as its pivot, and has been proceeding a cooperation business for responding to Asian climate change and reforestation and restoration. Since its establishment stage in 2012, Korea has been in the center of the business activity Korea Forest Service’s support and coordination. The organization’s main task include the prevention of desertification among Korea and ASEAN countries, prevention of forest disasters, restoration of the damaged forest ecosystem, sustainable utilization of the forest, cultivation of forest management skills, and transfer of technologies and research development, and as the first business, it built RETC in Mojave area in Yangon, Myanmar and proceeded the preservation of forest, transfer of technologies and research activities, and established a foothold to continue its purpose. BAUM CM played a role as a planning and construction business management in the center of RETC construction business despite the unfamiliar construction environment in a foreign country, and successfully completed the CM’s tasks in the whole process of construction business by managing not only the FF&E’s planning, purchase, and installation but also providing the management manual for upcoming business runners and executing maintenance education.
